All of Graves County's grade-by-grade curriculum sequences are available online, and each standard is linked to resources on the KentuckyLearns.com website. As a result, teachers and students can instantly connect with standards-based online resources at any time. |

| To date, Graves County teachers and students have "clicked through" to over 150,000 instructional websites through their curriculum documents. "As a Language Arts teacher with three young children of my own, one of my most precious commodities is time," said Lee Ann Rodgers of Graves County Middle School. "This makes planning and implementing innovative lessons very time efficient. There are direct links to interactive sites with tutorials, games, and virtual fieldtrips that can be used to enhance classroom instruction through group or individual projects." |

| The Graves County Schools consistently lead their region in student performance. The district’s 2006 academic index score of 93.2 maintains their ranking - for the third consecutive year - as 9th statewide among 176 districts. District Instructional Supervisor Tommy Scott says “our Leadership Team has led the way for our entire district and our people have taken ownership of a set of core beliefs we created together. They center around ideas like all students can learn, teachers influence learning more than any other factor, and students learn more when they’re authentically engaged." |
